Born and raised in Massachusetts, Kerry now resides just over the border in Litchfield, NH, with her partner and their two beloved dogs, Amo and Duce. A lifelong animal lover, Kerry’s days are filled with adventure—whether she’s riding horses, caring for a variety of animals, enjoying the beach, or spending quality time with any pup she meets. Kerry has a deep understanding of dogs and their unique needs. She specializes in behavioral modification, tackling challenges head-on to help every dog reach their full potential. With an approach rooted in compassion and curiosity, Kerry takes the time to discover what motivates each dog, using that insight to keep them engaged and excited about learning. While in Kerry’s care, your pup is sure to feel the love—she’s known for showering them with cuddles, kisses, and plenty of encouragement. Whether she’s working with dogs in her backyard, strolling through the outlets, or enjoying a walk on the beach, Kerry integrates real-world environments into her training to ensure lasting success. Having been with Off Leash K9 Training for several years, Kerry brings both experience and passion to her work. She thrives on the challenges of her role, from refining obedience skills to resolving behavioral issues. Her ultimate goal is to build strong, confident partnerships between dogs and their owners. Meet Kelsi!
Kelsi is a dedicated and passionate dog trainer based in Middletown, CT, who transitioned into full-time training after serving as an animal control officer. With over five years of experience, Kelsi’s journey in dog training began with her own dog, Crab, who struggled with fear aggression. Through her efforts to help Crab, she developed a deep knowledge of canine behavior and a lifelong passion for training.
Kelsi specializes in behavioral modification, tackling challenging behaviors to help dogs and their owners achieve harmony and happiness. She has extensive experience working with a variety of breeds, but her heart lies with her three American Pit Bull Terriers. Together, they participate in a range of exciting dog sports that enhance their quality of life and strengthen their bond.
As part of the Off Leash K9 Training team, Kelsi is committed to helping her clients build trust and off-leash obedience with their dogs. Her goal is to provide both owners and their furry companions the tools they need to enjoy a fulfilling and happy life together. Always eager to expand her knowledge, Kelsi strives to bring out the best in every dog she works with.

In-depth lesson program for dogs and owners in need of behavioral guidance- If your dog struggles with aggression or reactivity, our Aggression-Focused Lesson Program is designed to address these challenges while building a strong obedience foundation. This program includes 8 one-hour lessons, held once a week in a public setting, split into two phases: 4 Basic Obedience Lessonsto teach essential commands and 4 Aggression-Focused Lessons to tackle specific behavioral concerns.
- During the program, your dog will learn 7 essential commands: Come, Sit, Down, Place, Heel, Break, and Off. These skills are crucial for creating structure and reinforcing positive behavior. The aggression-focused lessons will provide you with tools and techniques to manage and improve your dog’s reactions in challenging situations.
- This program is perfect for owners seeking a structured, hands-on approach to addressing aggression while fostering obedience and confidence in their dogs.
- To get the most out of this program, we recommend consistent practice at home between lessons. With dedication, you and your pup will achieve an even higher level of obedience and teamwork.

Behavioral Modification | 3-Week Program
Three-week training for dogs in need of behavioral training- Does your dog struggle with reactivity, aggression, or intense anxiety? Our Three Week Behavioral Modification Board & Train program is specifically designed to help dogs with these unique challenges. Over 21 days, your dog will stay with one of our skilled behavioral modification trainers, where they’ll focus on mastering basic obedience while addressing their specific behavioral issues.
- Throughout the program, you’ll receive daily updates with photos and videos so you can follow your pup’s progress. On pick-up day, you’ll have a 2-3 hour one-on-one session with your trainer to review their training, ask questions, and learn how to maintain their progress at home.
- This program includes a lifetime guarantee for all commands taught during the training. Need a refresher? You can schedule lifetime refresher sessions at any of our 180+ locations nationwide to keep your dog on track.
- While we can’t promise a complete resolution of aggression or reactivity, we will provide you with the tools, strategies, and knowledge to manage and improve your dog’s behavior effectively.
